Wilmington Ski & Snowboard Club

Welcome to the 2023-2024 Wilmington SKI CLUB!

We are looking forward to another fun filled season of Ski and Snowboard Club!

The Ski and Snowboard Club has been an enjoyable experience for over 40 years to the students of Wilmington in grades 4 through 12. The 6-week club will run in the months of January & February on Tuesday and Wednesday nights!

RENTALS:

Nashoba offers a 6-week equipment rental that are returned at the end of each night. We HIGHLY recommend that every child wear a sports helmet while skiing or snowboarding, regardless of age or ability.

There will be a fitting held at the middle school in December for any student athlete that chooses to rent through Nashoba.  A date will be forthcoming after registration has closed.

OTHER RENTAL OPTIONS:

While supplies last, seasonal rentals are a cost-effective option from your local vendors if your family plans to ski throughout the season, which allots for a 4-month rental.  Examples of local vendors include:

Play it Again Sports- North Reading, MA

Ski Haus- Burlington, MA

Sun & Ski Sports- Woburn, MA

Ski & Sport Shack- Stoneham, MA

Sport Loft- Chelmsford, MA

LESSONS:

Lessons are available for all skiers and snowboarders, but really, are essential for anyone who is just starting out. This will teach your child the correct techniques for skiing or snowboarding, at the ability level they are at. The ski school at the mountain groups students by ability level, and there are lessons for beginners through expert.

CHAPERONES:

We welcome parent chaperones, skiers and non-skiers! We need chaperones for the bus ride, for the lodge, and up on the mountain! If interested, please sign up. We will communicate with you further via the email you provide.

*If ski club is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be made up on the following Tuesday/Wednesday at the end of the scheduled program.
